Mosaic is built by Moon Era, an independent film company. It started as the tool we wished existed: somewhere to keep our own credits straight, plan our own releases, and find the collaborators we'd lost touch with between productions.
Every feature on Mosaic is something we've needed on a real set — the credit claims, the festival roadmap, the casting dossiers, the workshop table reads. We build for independent film because independent film is what we do.

Independent film has always been a mosaic — hundreds of small scenes, crews, and cities that only look like an industry when you step back far enough. Our vision is the connective tissue: a living circuit of filmmakers who can find each other, vouch for each other's work, and carry momentum from one release to the next.

Is Mosaic free to use?+
Yes. Profiles, filmographies, credits, the Circuit, and the core Production Toolkit are free for every member.
Who can see my production material?+
Only you and the people you invite. Schedules, budgets, documents, and release plans in the Toolkit are private by default. Public pages show only what you publish.
How do credits work?+
Anyone can add a credit to a project, but credits added by non-admins stay pending until a project host approves them. If you're credited on someone else's film, you can claim it and it joins your filmography once confirmed.
What kinds of projects belong on Mosaic?+
Narrative and documentary features and shorts, commercials, music videos, and branded work. If it had a cast or a crew, it belongs here.
What is the Festival Strategist?+
Mosaic's release-planning technology. Tell it about your film — runtime, genre, budget, premiere status — and it maps a tiered festival roadmap with deadlines, fees, and an outreach tracker inside your Toolkit.
Is Mosaic a social network?+
It's a professional network. There are no likes and no comment sections — just follows, credits, bookings, and the work itself. The Circuit exists to keep you close to the people you make things with.
